Fisheries Act No.10 of 2014
The Fisheries Act no.10 of 2014. This Act provides for the management, conservation and development of fisheries in fisheries within Vanuatu waters and related matters. It also concerns, among other things aquaculture, seafood safety, the use of vessels on high seas and protection of marine mammals and provides for the establishment of the Fisheries Management Advisory Council, the Vanuatu Seafood Verification Agency and the International Fisheries Unit.

This is an amendment of the Fisheries Act No.10 of 2014 covering, VMS reporting, high seas transhipment and community based authorised officers
High Seas Transhipment Order No. 212 of 2020
The regulation order contained therein governs transhipment activities on the high seas for Vanuatu flagged fishing vessels. Notification and declaration submission procedures, transhipment fees and penalties for any issues that may arise.
